Why are a lot of your lotions and creams out of stock? I have been waiting for two weeks. How often do you receive new stock?
We typically receive new stock from the factory every 3-4 weeks, and we do our best to keep all products in stock. Normally, we reorder at the point where we have roughly two months' inventory on hand for any given product, based on our typical sell-through rates. Unfortunately, as in the current case with two of our most popular lotions, sometimes the factory runs into production delays. So even though we have been trying to reorder these products for more than two months, we still do not yet have new supplies in stock.
Whenever we are out of stock, particularly on a more popular item, we try to provide status updates on the SouthGain blog: www.SouthGainBlog.com. You can also get updates by following SouthGain on Twitter or from the SouthGain Facebook page.
